Ok, so obviously there has been an update to my blog - (so there I kept my promise) and as per usual even though I had blocked out 2 hours to do some writing so that I would have scheduled posts to be published throughout the week (so, I can continue to keep my promise), that really didn't happen. As I type this, my 1 year old is trying to squirm out of my lap (yes, I am typing with one hand - after awhile you just get used to it), has successfully done so and is now attempting to get at the cords to chew on. It's her favorite toy. In fact, as I'm sure all you parents know - the toys they love the most are usually not toys at all.

My keys are her favorite distraction toys. Of course she has play keys, but they don't compare at all because she knows that those are fake plastic keys. Paper, non children's books, shoes, and belts are among her other favorite toys.



Anyway, what was my point? Oh right, that despite all my good efforts, I really didn't get much blogging done. Some cleaning happened, then the toddler pushed the baby, then we decided to go out, then we happened upon a food truck roundup and got a little shopping done (not the important kind but the good kind yay!)

These two crack me up. Yes, they are our form of entertainment, especially Jax. He's such a clown. I already see what his high school yearbooks will say..he takes after his father. I'll have to do a post on that soon!
